Semur Fried Chicken


This one is recipes typical of Java, sweet and lezat! and alot of work hehe. We can use blender to refine some of ingredients but to get the original taste, to have batu olekan is recommended. Lucky me its exist in here and i got one also from asian market otherwise everything sliced -_-
here is the recipe
(For 4 person)


500 gr fresh meat Chicken (7 pcs of Chicken legs; my favorite)
1 ea Tomato, slice to 4 pcs
4 Tbs Sweet soy sauce
4 pcs Clove
4 cm dry Cassia or Cinnamon
Sugar, adjust
Salt, adjust
4 Onions, finely chopped
Oil (Sunflower oil)
2 Tbs vegetable oil
200 ml Water

Paste Ingredients:
4 Garlic
4 pcs Pecan
1 Tsp white Peppercorn
1 Tsp Coriander seeds
1 cm Ginger
1 Tsp Nutmeg powder

Direction:
1. First of all, finely pound all paste ingredients into a paste
2. Pour Sunflower oil into heated frying pan. Fry the meat until half fried. Then put in plate.
3. Prepare another pan, the saute vegetable oil with chopped onions.
4. Add paste, Cassia and Clove. Stir all together until the paste has changed colour to brown
5. Add chicken meat and stir until paste goes into meat.
6. Slowly pour water and closed the pan on low temperature. Open and stir time to time until meat cooked well.
7. At the end add sliced tomato, sweet soy sauce, sugar and salt. Stir
8. Serve it warm.
